Welcome to Covington Swim Team's Home

Next Swim Meet, Tuesday, June 30th at Sequoia High

Our meet this week is Tuesday, June 30th, against PCA at Sequoia High School. Warms up are at 3:00, meet starts at 3:30.

If you have a child that
WANTS TO SWIM IN THE MEET please have him/her check in with their coach Monday at practice. If you plan to attend the meet and will not be at practice Monday (PASA swimmers included) please email Jordyn Sims with your stroke preferences by 6:00 pm Monday night. This is critical in order for the coaches to seed the meet (lots of work and not pleasant to do multiple times).

Again we want to encourage everyone to sign up for the meet, because the swimmers have been working really hard, and the meets are where that hard work pays off!

Coaches & Photo sections updated on website

We now have real pictures of all of the coaches and a bio page for each. Two of the coaches bio's have been completed by some mischievous volunteers.

In addition, the photos we have are posted on the web site. They are limited, but if anyone is taking picture and can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Contact Dale Scott

Deck Behavior & Coach Interaction

When your swimmer is in the water, it is important to remember the following things:
  • Coaches are on deck to devote their attention to your swimmers!
  • Please approach the coaches before or after your swimmer's practice time, not during, if you have any questions.
  • Parents should strictly stay in the parents' area: either on the wooden bench behind the diving boards or on the bleachers.
  • Please refrain from sitting up against the wall on the far side of the pool. This area crowds the coaches and distracts the swimmers.
Parents will be reminded to remain in the designated areas if they are in the wrong place!
